Blackfoot Buffalo Lance
Usually mounted with a very long
and wide blade, this type of lance was used by the Indians
of the Plains for hunting buffalo. Hunting lances have generally
stronger and
dicker shafts, wider blades. Some were be up to 280 cm long,
but the
shorter the lance, the greater the skills of the hunter.
Length of this lance is approx 180cm with wide hand
forged blade, glass bead decorations, eagle feathers,
horsehair.
