Ojibway Indians Harvesting Lodge Poles

The white and black spruces are excellent trees for making teepee poles, they are long, thin, lightweight, and strait. Our poles are cut and prepared in Manitoba by local Native American Indians. They are available for pick-up at our store in Lundar, they can also be shipped by freight truck almost anywhere in Canada (sorry no international export at this time).
Two Grades Are Available
Natural Poles
As they come from the forest, rough but economical, but you will have to do the debarking and sanding yourself.
Premium Poles
Ready to use; they are debarked by hand, then sanded and protected with a good coat of linseed oil.

Indian Sweetgrass

Tipi poles are sold per complete set, length are uneven for a more traditional look.
Medicine poles are optional, they are longer and come in our Premium Grade, one pole per tipi.
Extra long lodge poles are also available on special request.
